A new album by the pop star Adele has been in the news since it was revealed that she had an untimely miscarriage.
Adele’s fourth album, My Everything, was released on Friday.
It is the first of her albums to be released without a release date since 2009.
But her biggest selling point is that she has not released a solo album since 2012’s Beauty Behind the Madness.
Despite the album’s high sales, critics have expressed concerns that the music may not be as powerful as the previous albums in the Adele canon.
The new album, released as a single, has had a mixed response.
Fans have enjoyed the song, while critics have not.
“It’s a great song, but it doesn’t resonate with me,” said The Hollywood Reporter’s Emily Yoffe, who reviewed the album.
Another critic, The Guardian’s Mark Evans, praised the album, calling it “perfect” for Adele.
“It sounds so good, it sounds so pure and it sounds like Adele,” Evans wrote.
He also praised the songs ability to “make you want to scream,” and said it “feels like a really beautiful, beautiful, deep, beautiful moment of love.”
Adele will make a triumphant return to the charts on February 28, when she releases her new album.
It will be the first time the singer has released an album in nearly three years.
