After decades of cult-like existence, Judas Priests’ first album cover was revealed to be the cover of the 1993 album Judas, which was released by the group.
The cover features Judas priest John Paul II, with a crucifix dangling from his neck.
This image, and the rest of the band’s music, has long been associated with the Catholic Church, and has been seen as a symbol of power and influence by some in the religious right.
This photo of Judas frontman John Paul was also featured in the film “The Passion of the Christ.”
This is the third cover image to be unveiled for the Judas album, and is by none other than the pope himself.
The original image was featured in a video game called Judas Quest.
In the game, players can collect Judas’ tattoos and take them to the Pope to get a tattoo of his likeness.
In addition to the cover, fans will also be able to download the Judases “The Best of Judias” album on digital download.
